Our Kindly Goal
Kindness is a ripple effect that starts with a single act. Our primary mission is to encourage kindness across the Isle of Wight through intentional acts of goodwill, helpfulness and generosity.
By committing to three Acts of Random Kindness (ARKs), we transform our communities into a tapestry of mutual support. Alongside everyday ARKs, we’re building ARK Music — concerts and musical gatherings that draw people together and celebrate the kindness already flowing across the island.
ARK Music: Inaugural Concert Series
ARK Music is an enduring journey of melody and care, launching our ongoing programme of events with the 2028 Bach B Minor Mass. These inaugural Isle of Wight concerts dedicate every note to the kindness already blooming in our towns, uniting us in a shared purpose of compassion. We invite everyone to join this heartfelt experience as we pursue musical excellence together through joyful rehearsals and concerts.
These Bach B Minor Mass concerts are the first in a growing series of ARK Music events. Over the coming years, we’ll invite other performers and ensembles to carry the ARK logo into their own concerts, using music as a way to gather people and spark new acts of kindness.
NOTE: the choice of the B Minor Mass is simply because it's an amazing piece of music! The ARK project is not in any way religious or faith-based: compassion and kindness is for everyone, regardless of their beliefs or cultural practices.
Singers
Lend your voice to the Kindness Mission. We are seeking dedicated singers to join our choir, using Bach's music as an initial sonic statement to spread kindness across the island.
